About the Business

We promote the work of artists, makers, designers and manufacturers who reuse and repurpose material and objects found in the built environment or in nature. Our ethos is to offer high quality products make in the UK from recycled materials. We aim to bring the circular economy to the high street.

We are a husband and wife team with a background in art, design and business. We launched in April 2022 and offer a retail outlet based in Black Jack Street and an online shop.

We have chosen suppliers who have a commitment to our ethos. We also use UK-based suppliers to reduce the carbon footprint of our products, e.g. our glass supplier, based in Wincanton, has been in the recycling business for 25 years. Our sunglasses are made from fishing nets reclaimed from the sea by a company based in Cornwall.

We also encourage and seek out individual designer makers and artists who use recycled, repurposed or sustainable materials in their creative practice; e.g. all our jewellery is made from eco silver, recycled brass, plastic bottles, reclaimed leather and vintage silk.

All packaging used in the shop, and when completing online orders, is recycled. We sell recycled candles made by a company based in Yorkshire and provide a used candle collection point.

We also offer: plant hangers made from recycled cotton, handmade pens made from reclaimed wood, bags made from used sails, plant pots made from agricultural waste, baskets made from willow grown in Somerset, rugs made from recycled wool, a range of accessories made from repurposed materials, upcycled furniture and driftwood sculpture.
